IS-2

Soviet heavy tank designed to match the power of Tigers and Panthers. With 122mm gun and 120 mm frontal armor it seemed perfect for the job and according to Soviet sources it was far superior to German tanks when they used their preferred tactics of attacking from long distance (over 1000 meters). IS-2 heavy tanks were in service until 1950s.
