Reinhard Heydrich begins his career in Nazi Party and quickly raises in ranks, but with each step he gains more and more enemies. Until Operation Anthropoid has started.
Reinhard Heydrich, Lieutenant of the German Navy, is released from service for conduct unbecoming to an officer - he broke the engagement to a woman so he could marry Lina von Osten. She was a Nazi Party member and soon Heydrich joined her, later to become one of the most trusted members of that organization. Heinrich Himmler noticed the qualities of Heydrich and put him in charge of the intelligence and security departments. Together with Hitler becoming a dictator in Germany Heydrich became more and more powerful head of security organization SD. When World War 2 began he was promoted again, this time he became acting governor of occupied Czechoslovakia, where his brutal methods were put to use in suppressing any signs of revolt among civilians. Unbeknown to him dark clouds began to gather above his head thousands of miles away - in Scotland two soldiers, Czech Jan Kubiš and the Slovakian Jozef Gabčík, preparing to be parachuted into their occupied homeland.
French war movie about Reinhard Heydrich, high rank Nazi official, who became target of one of very few Allied orchestrated assassination attempts during World War 2. The HHhH shows more background of Heydrich as a person - we first see him years before the war and before assassination, before he even started his career withing Nazi Party. On one hand it is a good thing, we get more profound view on the story behind his criminal mind, but at the same time it is one of the drawbacks of this production - because of that the movie lacks pace and is more rather a biography than anything else.
