American special forces in chase after the terrorist mastermind. Filmed with real Navy Seal soldiers.
American intelligence agent is kidnapped in Philippines, which triggers the series of events around the world. Special Navy Seals units are sent to Philippines to recover the agent, but this is just beginning of chase after the terrorist Abu Shabal, who plans to attack the cities within United States using suicide bombers.
Interesting idea for movie - it was shot with active Navy Seals soldiers playing the main parts of... pretty much themselves. Also the resources used for the movie were huge - we can see many of the modern ways the American special forces are using during the service, like deployment of soldiers in speed boats straight from helicopter or from submerged submarine.
Those are the strong points of the movie, but there is other side to it - the blindingly obvious propaganda why United States have to chase the terrorists around the world, the completely unnatural dialogues outside the action scenes, the poor acting (made by amateurs, so what more could be expected) and of course the lack of realism in the story.
So, to summarize - great effort when it comes to realism of fight scenes, spectacular show when it comes to the equipment and logistic part of the operations, but the evil terrorist and cheesy "private life" scenes were a bit too much.
