Soviet self-propelled gun built based on T-60 tank chassis that used concept similiar to German Panzerj?ger I - the gun and the crew were protected only by thin side armors while the top of the tank was open. The primary role for SU-76 was infantry support, but during World War 2 it proved to be effective as assault gun and tank detroyer.
