Polish tank built from 1935 on base of Vickers 6-ton Mark E was the first (and so far the only) tank fully designed by Polish industry. Two versions were prepared - with single turret and gun, the second was with twin turrets armed with machine guns. During the German invasion in 1939 7TP, together with tankettes TK3 and TKS, were the only hope of stopping the Germans. They proved to be good enough against German light tanks, but since so few were produced before the war they were unable to play important part against the German offensive.
