Chinese Civil War war movies

The civil war between the forces loyal to the government of the Republic of China and forces of the Communist Party of China. The fights started in 1927 and lasted until 1950, ceased only during the Japanese invasion in 1936 and World War 2. Just when the World War 2 has ended the united forces of China again split up and returned to the ideological and military civil war. The war was full of local conflicts going on and same areas were taken over repeatedly by both sides. The political differences between both sides led not only to very bloody fights, but also to massacres. The war has ceased in 1950, although no armistice or peace treaty was ever signed.
